I have a Sony Vaio imported from japan. It was originally ment for windows 7, but when I bought it, it was running windows 11.

I decided to downgrade to windows 7 ultimate just because lol. I used a reinstall action disc because I thought that's what you should use for a laptop that already was meant for windows 7.

my "disk partion 1 system" didn't have enough for me to install it, so I used disk portion 2 (primary I think?) which had enough to install my files

it's all working well and good, but it says "no connections are avalible" on my laptop.
I've tried everything. I tried using a USB to transfer files that were supposed to work onto this laptop and STILL nothing has changed.
my laptop isn't set to wireless, i tried that already too.
admittedly, i kind of regret this, especially since i have no idea what i'm doing.

(sorry I'm new to this website I'm not sure if I'm replying correctly)

there are yellow triangles on "other devices", I'm not sure how to check disk manager because I can't find it?
the wifi used to work completely normal with no issues on windows 11, I don't know what's going on.. should I buy a new disk? if so, what do you suggest?

You create the iso file onto a usb then boot from it. Try this see if it has a recovery partition which will re install How to recover your VAIO with VAIO Recovery Center | Sony UK

edit: tried to work this and it didnt work, my boot screen doesnt even have.. much on it. it just says " /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FVEBOOT=2633728"

any usb recommendations? im assuming it has to be a certain kind of usb.. if not, then i have one. how can i make a iso file?

also, ive been trrying to look for diver files and cannot find anything for my laptop. im not even sure if im looking at the right thing. i looked up "PCG-71F14N" and "VPCCB48FJ" and basically just found nothing even when going to the website in japan
