the Wifi still not working. the driver is installed correctly i can see the wireless button in the right side and some wireless found available. when i click the SSID and put the security code. after a couple of seconds nothing happens and it says Can't connect to the network. Now im using cable so i can used an internet. actually in windows 8 the driver was automatically provided with the OS but still can't connect error. but still i saw all wifi online. i tried to disable the wireless security from my router but still the error will come. after i double click the SSID in says can't connect to the network.

Hi Joban,

Welcome to Seven forums.

Kindly check the system under safe mode networking:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/69585-safe-mode.html

Let us know if it works correctly there. Also, let me know the model number of wireless card installed on the system.

Check this article for further troubleshooting:

Note: Steps are for Vista but it would be similar for Windows 7 as well.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

Welcome to Seven Forums,

In addition...... Do you have a 3rd party wireless manager/utility that controls your Wi-Fi? or....you're using the Windows native WLAN Auto Config service? These 2 can't be enabled at the same time as this will cause issue.

Also, have you refreshed your wireless networks? Here's a How-To tutorial by Brink, make sure that when you re-add your SSID or wireless network type in the correct pass-phrase or encryption.
