Dell inspiron 1564 !

I have just bought Dell Inspiron 1564 and just reinstall operating system (windows 7 HP 64bit) , all drivers is cool except PCI Simple Communications Controller , i tried any solution but useless, I tried to reinstall driver but it notice like this pic below :sarc:, any help is appreciated ! By the way how to run recovery partition ?:huh:

Does that laptop come with a built in modem? Have your right-clicking it, selecting update, then installing the PCI driver?

Here is just a thought. You just purchased it so you have a warranty and Dell support. I'd use it you payed for it why not contact them. I only suggest this since we can't seem to help you. Fabe
