Dell l702x BSOD when playing audio or video

I bought a Dell l702x in January and a couple months later installed a SSD and did a clean install of Windows. Since then I have been getting frequent BSODs when playing audio or video. Most of the crashes seem to be with either the Nvidia gt 555m driver or the Intel Graphics 3000 driver.

I am uploading all the BSOD crash information.

I would appreciate any help anybody could give with why I am getting these Blue Screens and what I need to do to fix the problem.

Thanks,
Brandon

Welcome

Are you using the NVIDIA or Intel VGA? Seems like they are conflicting with each other.

Normally when there's an add-in graphics card, BIOS will stop using the integrated one.
try this:
- Restart the laptop and press the keys to go to BIOS menu (usually F2, depends on manufacturer)
- Check the settings for the graphics card
- Make sure you select the option that says: disable integrated one if the add-in present

I do have both enabled. I was pretty sure that the laptop is supposed to support this by using the integrated graphics for basic tasks and using the Nvidia card for graphics intensive tasks such as games.

Based on the settings in the Nvidia control panel though, it should only be using the Nvidia card for the games that I have installed. For everything else it should be using the integrated graphics. If its recommended that I disable one of the cards I can do that.

Also the Dell BIOS does not seem to have many options. I could not find any specific to the graphics card.

Good job on the specs. I think you should contact OCZ about the possibility of the SSD being defective, it's not unheard of. :(
