Dell Latitude (Win7) Laptop not connecting to Internet

I don't know what's up, I am pretty sure it's connecting, but the server isn't respondinG or something. At the bottom right, it has the 4 bars then it has a triangle on it and on N&SC ( network and sharing center it has NAME-PC and then Identifying to the right of that. I've tried system restore to see if its the antivirus, that doesn't help, tried resetting the winsock catalog, I just don't know what's wrong, can someone help?

Can you post a shot of your "ipconfig /all" minus the quotes when you enter it in the command prompt.

I'm on my cell phone, I have no other computer it has dchp enabled and stuff and the IPV4 is 169.xxx.xxx.xxx.

It looks like you network settings might not be set proper. Go to Control Panel-Network and Sharing Center-Change Adapter settings. Then right click your wireless adapter icon and select properties. Check yes if it asks for permission. Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 and select properties. A new window will pop up and make sure Obtain an IP address automatically is checked as well as dns setting below. Click ok and close the rest of the windows and report back.

Ok did you try to power cycle your router. Unplug wait 30 sec or so and plug back in.

It looks like either your router isn't broadcasting or the wireless network card isn't picking it up. Does it work if you plug in directly with a network cable?

Ok what about when you click on the wifi icon and select troubleshoot what does it say? Have you tried that?

Did you perform any updates or install any software?
Have you tried connecting to a friends network or neighbors?
Have you tried reinstalling the network drivers?
Have you tried a hard reset of the router?
Which anti-virus are you running?
