I'm planning to buy a new desktop these days so I'm a bit confused if the new PC hardware will be any aster than the old.
I have my eye on a Dell 7020 which is sol with these specs core i5 3.3GHz 4Gig RAM 6G cache HD5 500Gig HD
Full specs are in the following link
Dell OptiPlex 7020 Specs - CNET
WILL THE ABOVE BE FASTER/BETTER PERFORMANCE THAN
A HP Compaq dc7600 Pentium D Core two Due 3.4 Ghz 4GB Ram + Nvidia Geforce 9600GT display adapter
I'm going to increase the amount of RAM on my new Deskto as soon as I buy it (how much? that depends on the cost)
What I'm concerned about is the clock speed of my old processor is faster than the new
Thanks in advance for your advice
