Solved Desktop glitches when resuming session, why?

I have noticed after waking the notebook from sleep or from it's screen saver state, that parts of the desktop; most noticeably the taskbar seems to be missing and glitched in some spots. Can anything be done to remedy this most distressing development

Next work through these troubleshooting steps to comb the logs and utilize System Resources for clues, test hardware, check System Files, etc.

FYI, the problem goes away if i do a screen refresh. Does that matter?

updating video card driver seems to have fixed the issue thus far. Will report back if changes but I consider this thread solved

Glad to hear it and let's hope it holds.

If so then it's a good time to get a backup image which you put in a folder named "Will Resume." I've had a few I only relied upon the Restore Point and later when I needed it it was gone.
