new here to the forum. looking for some info.
i have windows 7 home 64 bit.
i was using simply transparent on here which is awesome. but now i guess ive had an
update and it wont work anymore.
when i go to use it, it says its avail in win 7 now and i dont know where or how.
simply transparent is a utility by jonathan grimes that by clicking of the mouse it will
hide all the folders and etc on my desktop and show with a click of the mouse.
i want to be able to hide and show desktop with click of mouse.

Have you tried reinstalling it? Have you tried uninstalling the update and seeing if it works? Do you have a restore point to a time it worked?

there are two downloads. it says 385 does not work well on win 7 64 bit
uninstall and them install setup iconoid x64.exe aug 2010
i went to install and talked about beta and some troubles

I'd think generally you'd be fine. It is very unlikely to bork your system, but possibly have some bugs in how the program itself works, if any.

Sorry, no I have never used it myself. Their help page has an interactive screenshot. Run your cursor over the various buttons for options and explanations.

Sorry, having problems following your posts. "hotkey conflicts ?????" Huh?

Fences also has the feature, amongst many others.
