Hello,
I have a strange problem. I recently had to move my graphics card from one slot to another on my motherboard. When I did so, my desktop appeared to be shifted over to the left and that the left most part of the desktop would not display. I tried to use my TV controls to shift the display horizontally and when I did I encountered two issues- 1) the display would not adjust flush with the right side of the screen (would not reach it leaving a slim black bar) and 2) it looked like someone sliced off the left most part of my desktop (the part missing was a width so that about half the start/ windows button was missing).
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CCC (latest update/drivers) for my ATI Raedon HD 46xx series card with no luck (Doing a registry sweep between to be thorough). I also have updated everything else windows with no luck.
My desktop is fine @50hz by the way, but 60hz is problematic.
And here is the whammy!
I took a screenshot of my desktop to send to a friend so he could see the left part cut off by a black bar and when I pasted it, the whole screen is there in the pic!!
So I assume this means that windows thinks it is displaying the screen but it is not making it to my TV?
I would have given up on this, however, it was working before so I know that it is possible.
Any help with this issue would be appreciated as I am starting to pull my hair out over here!
Thanks in advance!
