just fyi

i have a gigabyte p965-ds3 m/b and am running win7u.

i used to have much frustrations in "waking up" my pc after hibernation despite not allowing it to sleep at all via change plan settings. i didn't fiddle with the m/b bios as i didn't have this problem when i was running vista.

i don't know whether this has any bearing but when i deselect "set to auto-hide" in the taskbar, i can "wake-up" the pc by moving/activating the mouse. once i re-select "set to auto-hide", i cannot "wake-up" the pc after hibernation.

i am curious to know whether this is the solution but i don't have another pc to try.

hope i wouldn't be feeling like this - :o if it doesn't.

Hello,

Certainly, you are on to something. There is a known link between auto-hide and sleep issues. As far as I know, there is no solution yet.
