Hi guys! I don't know if this is the right place to post with my issue. The problem is when I browse the internet for a long time let's say 1 hour and 30 mins. or more, watching movie's, youtube, facebook, wikipedia. After those when I tried to play a game like C&C Generals it says you need DirectX 8.1 or higher something like that but I have DirectX 11. I don't know if my PC thinks that there's no DirectX. Every single driver is updated. Disregard the sound problem, this is happening since 1 month of buying my PC. The only thing that I could do is restart the PC then back to normal Dx 11 but I have some work and downloads. Any solution to this w/o restarting my PC?

Hello Rain08

Windows 7 does come with Direct X 10 & 11 but does not include Direct X 9.0 which many older games run on.

So you will have to install Direct X 9.0

Heres the link : DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)

This should solve you problem.

My PC can run any games that has DirectX 9 or lower.
The problem is that my PC does not recognize DirectX after an amount of time like 1 hour and 30 mins. or more, This is only when browsing the web, watching movies. I don't know if this happens when its only in desktop.
