Hey !
redface.gif

I have dirt 2 ...
I have finished many races ..
I have installed it in on my D drive ..
It was all working fine .. Suddenly my windows got corrupted and i formatted my pc and installed windows again ...
I have also again installed games for windows live again from the dvd of dirt 2 ..
Now the problem begins :::
cool.gif

When I start dirt 2 , it asks for log in to a gamer profile of games for windows live or not .. Then i select yes .. And then the screen hangs on the magzine cover of the dirt 2 .. hang does not mean that the game crashes there although the flickering of the magzine cover continues ..

And when i select no , then the game starts from the beginning evey time .. plz help me ..

And also to tell you that i have also tried to reinstalled the game but nothing is in favor of me ..

Hi Omerjerk,

Has games for windows tried updating itself after you login to your profile?

If not, try uninstallling Games for windows live that you got off the disc and download and install this version instead - Welcome to Games for Windows Marketplace - Games For Windows
That is the latest version, see if that helps.

Lucky

GFWL is the bane of pc games lately. I bought dirt2 through steam, and because the 1.2 update BROKE THE GAME, i cant play it. If I paid full price, Id be mad .... but it was only $5.

Anyway, the best course of action is exactly what Lucky stated, download the client directly from MS. I have ALWAYS had issues updating GFWL through the in game interface. If there are any updates, apply them manually, doing so lessens the headache of that 'Unable to connect' errors.

We can't read your screen from here....so you will have to type in what the installer says is the problem....and type it exactly as it is, not in phone text shorthand.

It would also help if you finished filling in your system spec's.....
