Disable network password cache Windows 7 Home Premium

Hi,

I have 2 computers which both run Win7 Home Premium.

When I need to copy something from one PC to another, I'm accessing the other pc using the old method: \\computername\c$. This works perfectly fine for me and I don't plan to change my working method.
I do have one big problem though; The passwords for accessing network shares are cached on the PC. So you only have to enter the password once, and you're clear to access the share for forever (even after a reboot).

Is there anyway to disable password caching? In other words: is there a way to always ask for a password? I've Googled for the solution but all I came across where some solutions which concerned using policy rules in the registry, but since I only have Home Home Premium I can't do that. Also, the passwords do not seem to be stored/cleared from >control userpasswords2>advanced>password management.

edit: I've got a temporary workaround. If anyone has a more elegant/better solution, please don't hesitate to post it.

-run rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr
-click add
-enter pc name, enter correct username, enter WRONG password.

This way your PC always tries to connect to the other PC using a wrong password and therefore eventually always asks for the correct password (which than can be entered manually).

you could try changing the settings in the network and sharing center

This is not applicable since I don't use homegroup. Also, it's a password caching issue which is not related to the settings in the Network and Sharing center. Thanks for the efforts though

In the group policy editor (local policy -> computer config -> windows settings -> security settings -> local policies -> security options) there is an option to not allow storage of passwords and credentials (Network access: do not allow storage of passwords and credentials...). By default that is disabled. You can try enabling it to see if that prevents caching of your passwords.

In my start post I already said I couldn't do that, however, I initially wrote that I'm running Home Professional, that's not correct. I'm running Home Premium. That's why I can't do policy enforcements. I've edited the start post. Sorry for the confusion.
