Apologies Quadrider10, I do admire your efforts!! i know you don't want to hear it... but you really need a desktop.

You have made great strides in your efforts with your system, and as I said before I admire that.. but when you get a chance to get a desktop you will get what you are looking for. I wish you the best my friend!!

Lol aww I think I'm in the wall now. So unless I can OC I'm stuck. I might just look for a cheap Lenovo gen 2cpu laptop with integrated graphics. That way I can run at PCI 2.0 x1 optimus

then the only way to lower it is to have less ram. That or you would have to hack Windows itself to change how that function works as it is hard coded into Windows memory management system.

For anyone reading this, I have a desktop and laptop with similar setups and my desktop runs aLOT faster than the laptop.
It just has to do with the little chips and connections on the motherboards and how they cram everything into a smaller laptop form while sacrificing some speed I guess.

Your desktop and laptop do not have the same hardware so they will not run the same. One of the big advantages of a desktop is it cooling capabilities. Your can work the desktop harder and faster because it can cool itself better.
Many things in a laptop are the way they are to save batter life that a desktop doesn't have to work about.

Their are many other distinctions that make is almost imposable to compare a desktop and a laptop in performance.
