Alright my situation relates to tune up pc 2013. Its a special software that allows me to disable drivers, softwares, anything that takes up memory. My problem is some software and applications will not run such as the ability for my computer to read sd cards.

Now my question is how to disable tune up pc? It will not let me close it and I looked everywhere on google about this topic but all I could find is to uninstall it since I still want to keep it on.

As far as I remember (and at least for version 2012) it installs a service and keeps it running all the time. Look in the computer services for tuneup, and you may be able to disable them all. Note that as soon as you run Tuneup again, it will reenable all those again.

I highly recommend not using any Tune Up program on Windows 7. They do cause more problems than they will ever fix. They keep our BSOD team very busy.

I doubt that? ever since I got tuneup pc 2013 I was able to run my games such us starcraft 2 from low graphics to ultra graphics.

Its a great tool and just a little bit annoying since it wont let me disable it.

To me anytime a program takes over a computer and will not let the administrator do as he/she pleases their is a problem. It makes me wonder what else is the program doing the the administrator hasn't found yet. These are just my thoughts.

Process Monitor can tell you what it's doing under the cover.
But I tend to agree with Layback Bear in that the program should give an option to disable itself, other than uninstalling. That's what I didn't like about the latests versions of TuneUp, otherwise a great program. Luckily, it's easy to stop it's services.
