You can always try. What may happen is eventually the game will try to connect and not let you stay offline while it does it's security check. Haven't tried it myself as I have no connection issues at the moment. I have had to do it with other games though as my service was interupted due to bad weather last year.

I was pretty sure that that was not an option for Skyrim. Someone said they did that and the game would not run till they reconnected live. But worth a try I suppose, would be good to know.

I play skyrim ofline all the time, I just get an messige that steam is ofline when I start the pc, but when I open the game it starts perfectly with no internet. BUT if you dont have the update yet, it wont play ofline, that was my problem...

Well......imho wait for the next update. BUT after Sygnus told me to delete the save file,which I allready did, I desided it would not hurt to delete more, so I deleted every save file except for one autosave and one normal save, and now no more CTD's...but I only play for about an hour,and stopped now cause I am at the final level/stage

I'm glad to hear that. This is what I used to do when I was playing Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and to a certain extent, Oblivion. It seems reducing the save file folder in Bethesda games cures crashes.

Anyway what I actually do is move my save files to a different folder. This way if I want to go back to a certain area I just find that file and load the game from there.

Smart, yeah I am now just completing side missions, i don't want to finish the game yet

im gonna be doing my warrior run, this is the one im gonna take forever on. this side quests, shouts, dungeaons and dragons will all be completed 100 percent. hopefully this game gives me a.d.d

Well, I've found a show stopping bug, it was that bad I had to resort to a console fix, a pretty big jump from one mission to another, I didn't join the thieves guild when I got the mission, mainly because I didn't want riften guards placing a bounty on me, so I left it, did some main missions and completed diplomatic immunity, which obviously when you complete, delphine tells you to go to riften and speak to someone, well, that someone wanted me to do something, and when I did it, the next mission didn't kick in (a cornered rat), so after trolling some forums, found that I could just go straight to the person to initiate the mission, which the chap didn't want to speak to me, tried the tcl to get through the door but he just said go away, so I had to resort to "setstage mq203 10" console command, not happy, but at least I get to continue now.

the riften guards don't put a bounty on you, if you don't get caught. it was something i wanted to avoid, but i bit the bullet and followed Thru. got into the ratways? and talk to the guy. only commands i would ever use are the fov commands. they change your feild of view. i suggest you play around with them and see what you guys like. my fov is 80 or 85. i forget but it looks better than the default fov. just bring up the console type fov ''any number'' (no quotes) and see the changes in real time.

Joining and later being leader of the thieves guild has major perks, i wont make anyone mad by spoiling anything but i will say this, when you are able to murder several people in a town, and get a bounty of over 4000,and the gaurd stops you and gives you the option of paying that 4000, going to jail or fighting all the gaurds, being the leader of the guild gives you an xtra option where you tell him your from the guild and then you only pay like 450!!

Yeah, I took the bait to help the guy out but decided not to do the rest of his quest and was still able to complete the Delphine quest.

Anyway I'm not really sure why you're told to speak to him specifically other than to put you at that place, but once there you can just ask around the inn and will be told where to look for your target, then go to the next place and ask more questions, then go from there. Basically you can avoid delphine's contact altogether, though speaking to him will start a quest alluded to at top.

Man I gotta say this game is bad as hell (American slang for good). I’m currently doing the Alduin quest and man the graphics and music in this quest are outstanding.

If this game isn’t Game of the Year, I don’t know what could be. This is a great game with plenty of content.... and I'm not even done!

The Radiant Story broke one of my quest's for the companions. They told me go kill someone i had already killed in a previous quest. i get to the place and the body is just there all lifeless lol. then i remember what someone said about about using the console the set the quest stage and presto!! im 100 gold richer. Also this game is so god damn dramatic, i love it!!

Flying horses....

Weird bug(s) after completing the Dragonslayer quest

Flying horses – So now whenever I dismount my horse it goes flying off like its shot out of a sling shot! And in one instance I stopped at an encampment (currently doing the reunification of Skyrim) and parked my horse next to two others, as soon as I dismounted, the horse flew into the ones next to it, killing one, and sending the other flying some distance away. It was kind of funny though because it was like instant exit stage left action. Anyway this happens all the time now, the flying horse.

The thing of it is is once the horse goes flying off, I'm without a horse till I fast travel, where once again, if i'm on the horse and dismount, off he goes

The other thing I noticed since completing Dragonslayer is that in open areas it seems I have a dragon tracking me. Sometimes he’ll fly low and buzz me, other times he’ll fire a blast or two at me and fly off in the distance – I don’t even get a red enemy dot saying he’s there.

Not sure what's going here, but it is odd that these are happening after completing the Dragonslayer quest.

I’ll do some further research and see what reports are out on these issues.
