My Windows 7-64 Home Premium had multiple corrupted tasks after trying Windows 10 & reverting to Windows 7, months ago. I did not realize that it had corrupted the Task Scheduler. I found Dijji's Repair Tasks, which did a beautiful and easy job of cleaning up all the corrupted tasks. Now when I click on Display All Running Tasks, I get, "The Task Image is Corrupt or has been tampered with." At that point, the Task Scheduler Stops. If I click on Display All Running Tasks again, it displays, "Task Scheduler is not available..." I tried to contact Dijji about the problem, but cannot find a way to reach him. The PC seems to run just fine otherwise, but I would like to correct this error. I have run an elevated sfc /scannow & chkdsk /r and both run error free. MS Malicious Software Removal Tool, MSE Complete Scan, & MalwareBytes Premium scans run error free. Rogue Killer also ran error free. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can correct this problem, short of a factory restore?

Im not really a fan of 3rd party fix\optimiser programs, however having said that theres one called

My apologies for being so long in responding to this posting. We had an illness in the family that demanded my attention for about a month or so. I tried your suggestions, but finally went back to Dijji's Repair Tasks, from SysNative.com, and re-ran it. I found that I had missed a step in his procedure on my first try. I did it correctly the second time, and the problem was solved. I definitely suggest that anyone with this problem should take a look at that "third party" fix. It is a superb piece of software! That being said, there were several other problems in my Win 7-64 Home Premium that were caused by reverting from Win 10. I finally came up with the idea of buying an upgrade CD from Win 7-64 Home Premium to Win 7-64 Professional. I bought one for under $30 and installed it right over the original OS. All problems were solved in less than an hour!!! Thanks for all your attempts to help me. I do appreciate it.
