Display and Monitor Drivers PROBLEM!!

I hate to say it, but after this, I don't think that you could get the card to display correctly under Win 7. Why don't you have a look at this card?

EVGA GeForce 6200 / 256MB DDR2 / AGP 8x / DVI / VGA / TV-Out / Video Card at TigerDirect.com

I have a very similar one (6200A-LE) in my downstairs PC. It is a very slow card, but very much faster than yours. It supports full Aero as well, so your desktop will look so much better. This card is good for what it is.

For a little more money and considering what you're currently using, you would be really happy with this card.

How did you do it? With the .inf I provided for the latest beta?

Also, if you can't get your monitor driver, the default generic driver should be fine. Is there something your pc is doing that makes you want this driver, that might be fixed with it?

Maybe this is the wrong place, as I'm new here, but...

I recently upgraded almost all of the parts of my computer, and in doing so, discovered that for some reason, my monitor (Compaq MV7500) won't run on my integrated chipset.

My motherboard is here: Newegg.com - ECS BLACK SERIES A790GXM-AD3 AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards

It has a standard VGA slot, as does my monitor have an SVGA cord and connector. As it stands right now, I can only run my monitor on my graphics card (nVidia GeForce 7600 GS). I was able to run a friend's LG 22" LCD on the motherboard (which, btw, has an onboard chipset--ATI Radeon HD 3300), but again, for some reason, my monitor refuses to run. I've turned off and unplugged my computer before switching, as recommended,. but it just won't seem to work. I am running Windows 7, which may not have drivers out for my monitor yet as I have not found any.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Also, my Windows 7 is Build 7100, if that helps. Evaluation copy.

Xrafice, it's probably the refresh rate set on the onboard video that's incompatible with the monitor. Set it t0 60 Hz and try then.

Otherwise, when you say the monitor refuses to run. Does it say anything on the screen like, "Out of range?" Or does it not do anything at all?

Alright, how do I do that? I've adjusted display settings on Windows 7 (but can't find anything for the refresh rate) and subsequently restarted as low as 800x600. I can't find anything in the BIOS regarding monitors whatsoever, nor is there anything on my actual monitor's settings for refresh rate.

To answer your question, it blacks out, going into its 'sleep' mode, where the LED light switches to yellow. When on and displaying, it's a green light. When there's no power going to it, it's off.
