display black and white only

I have macular degeneration and cannot see colors well. Is there a way to make everything display in black and white only. I need white text on a black background. I have tried reversing the display to this but some pull down menus are then displayed in blue which I cannot see.

Have you tried the High Contrast Black theme?

Then you can use http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/282-window-color-appearance-change.html to make sure all the text is white and you can adjust your border colors to your liking.

This is something I did real quick.
