Hey, i just bought a new laptop for college and every once in awhile it freezes up on me. The screen flashes black and i usually have to hold the power button to shut it off. One time it recovered and i got a message saying "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"... "Driver ATI Radeon family"......I'm not sure what the problem is and i would be very thankful to anyone who can offer help.

Thank you

Go to search, type device manager. You will see some of your drivers, graphics will be shown. Make sure that there are no yelllow markers shown. Make sure that you have the most up to date driver, also.
