Display goes black when using USB

While trying to connecting to one of the two USB connectors on the towers I/O panel the display goes black, so does the sound. But the PSU are still running, so are the LED`s on the MB.
This comes and goes, sometimes it`s enough to touch the metal on the USB port and sometimes I can get it in and sit there for some time before it shortens.

it doesn`t matter what I try to plug in, and I have checked the grounding to the PSU - OK, shortening between wires from the ports - OK, no damaged wires. Tried to take out the reset plug from the MB.

But NO! Still no luck.

Computer is 2 weeks old and the case is a CM 690 II Advanced.
