Actually, there have been several links of places that Microsoft has the .iso files available for download. If you search around here, you'll find the links. I'm also not talking about public perception, either. If you are ever chatting with anyone from Microsoft or their support resources, they actually suggest borrowing the media from friends.Sure you can use the same disk, and yes the key determines the legality of it, but you don't see MS handing out ISO images for free, and neither can we. That's the reason I said it wasn't legal![]()
You just need to apply some actual, practical knowledge, and not just believe everything you hear or read on the disc itself.
Microsoft themselves described the steps on performing a clean install using an upgrade disc. As long as you aren't pirating the license or cracking the activation, they don't care.
