Do you save your boxes?

I keep only high end stereo boxes and all flat screen boxes the rest I pitch after about six months after install. I too have a issue with throwing things out that could be of use later. I must have 300 computer cables of any and all types many date back to my original 286......scary !

I never thought about it until I read the post above. I guess I am a pack rat too. I still have my dot matrix printer in the attic.

I used to throw boxes out the day i opened them but my wife got P****d with me as she got fed up sweeping up cereal, and i have loads in the attic i think if i sell anything then i have the box and it may sell better, i havent sold anything to date :huh:

I used to keep a lot of stuff around...but then wanted to get the house and such cleaned up and realized that I wasn't ever going to use all of these old boxes...so I've parted with most of it. I just don't see the need for the clutter of storing all of this stuff. And then i watch TV shows like Hoarders and am happy about my decisions.

TV box is in the attic above the Garage and the Xbox box is still in the closet, it stayed were it was.

Actually, I am not using those mobo's anymore, since I no longer have them. The newest one was the P5Q Pro which I sold a few months ago to go with an i7 setup.

Thank fully they are only cardboard and easily discarded.

Many moons ago, I worked for Radio Shack. Whenever they put an item on display, they save the box incase they ever have to sell the item, there is a box for it. That stockroom was just unbelieveable how junky it was.
