Ok ok, can we get going without flaming browsers?
Everyone has their opinion. Some love FF, some even IE, and some Chrome.
Everyone has what they like, which is most sensible. If you like it, and it works for you, great.

Talk all ya want about security, as most tend to learn, it's more about your browsing habits than the browser itself. I've been using Opera for a few years, and haven't had a single problem. I can't say it's because of security, but more about browsing habits. I still have FF on my desktop along side Opera. Overkill? Maybe, but oh well, it's what I like and that's all that matters. My only real gripe about FF is how different it is now than what it used to be. I used to use it exclusively, until it got fat. Even stock, it isn't anywhere as snappy as it used to be. But that's just me. I don't need addons, extensions and all that fluff. Even in Opera, I highly doubt i'll use any of the extensions. No need for em.

I'm still eagerly awaiting IE9 to see what it turns out to be. If the final is really similar to the beta, I may use that, and dump FF all together. Ive tried tons of browsers over the years, and I just stick with what I like. If something comes along that I like better, i'll use it. Even FF 4...if I really like it, hey...ya never know.

Then give chrome a try. If you want you can have nothing accept the address bar on the browser and that is it. You can even not have book marks or the home button if you want. This is mine with extensions and the bookmarks bar. It takes up virtually no room at all.

How do you remove the Tab bar in Chrome ?
Its very easy to remove all the tool bars with Opera & still have a functional browser as you can use Ctrl Tab to scroll a list of tabs or use F4 to access the Windows panel.
You can also use F2 for a address/search field.
Its also easy to remove the menu button & access it with the Alt key that enables keyboard shortcuts for everything on the menu, very handy if you use a netbook with those irritating track-pads.

You can also set up Firefox to have the tabs Chrome style with an add on.

Have you actually tried any browsers apart from Chrome ? Chrome is a fairly new browser & uses lots of ideas first implemented in other browsers.
All browsers copy ideas from other browsers.

I thing Firefox is best browser IMO. I love all the add ons you can use and stuff. It works for me so I don't see why I should use anything else. I tried crome but I like how fire foxs tabs and history is set up.
