I just purchased a [FONT="]SYX Mid-Tower [/FONT][FONT="]ATX Computer from Tiger Direct and it has the capability to run the Windows XP mode and the Virtual Mode. I have an OEM Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS.
My problem is that I only a dial-up internet connection, the XP mode file alone is > 500Mb in size. I calculated I would have to tie up the phone line for over a day and I only have one line.
Is there a way to get the files on my work computer, which has a T1 line. However it is running Vista not Windows 7.
I live 40 miles from my home computer to my work computer. and is a real pain to go all this distance.
Microsoft is paranoid as usual. They forget that not everyone has a fast internet connection at home, or can even get one,especially in the country.
I can not fathom that one can not get a CD/DVD that can check if your OS is a real one and not a fake ,along with a copy on the needed files. I have validated my computer at home.
