Downloads to Beta 7 won't complete.

Whenever I download an application to 7 the download window gets to 99% complete then stops. It won't finish the download process. You can got to the download location and the app. is there and it's complete but the download client will not shut down. Most times I have to force a reboot to close the IE8 download client. Any suggestions?:sarc:

So this is with all downloads? I have no issues downloading so I have no idea, maybe try firefox for a quick fix?

Does not sound right though, :huh: something is up. Did you do a clean install or upgrade and which version of Win7 do you have?

I'm using a clean install of release build 7000. It's consistent with all ie 8 downloads. I'll try Chrome.

im geting similar problems like this in every build. It works fine from start, but then suddenly starts working very slowly. Like it gets "stuck" on 99% for a min or two on mostly .exe files so this could be antivirus issue, but never got around to test it, since i download .exe like maybe every 2-3 days when some new drivers gets out and usualy dont rememeber at that point.

I tried the same download using Google Chrome and did not have a problem with the download. So this problem seems to be only with ie8 and Windows 7. I also remember that the problem has become progressively worse.

I get no problems? With any build using either firefox downloader but normally IDM, i download tv shows and other large files even on a mobile connection with no issues.

I have had a disliking of IE forever so not even tried (oh i may of downloaded firefox with it at one point lol)..
