I have a driver that windows is reporting to be a problem and cause instability to the system. The message says Windows is blocking it. SonicSolutions DLA. It is a driver that belonged to an old CD suite of utilities. I've uninstalled the utilities and all that remains is this driver. Is it safe to just delete this file or does it require special handling?

I know nothing about drivers and don't want to cause more problems.

My thanks,

Mary

samuria, thank you so much for your advice and for the link to the well written and helpful article. I would be lost without the help I receive here in the forums.
