Hello everyone, I am presently using Win7 RC, although everything is working fine I still have this problem message appearing. The message states that my maindrive ( I use two drives) is missing the driver?

It is a Western Digital WDC160 Sata 2, otherwise the only problem I have is that it does not recognize my HP scanner drivers. And HP stopped making drivers after XP.

Thank you

Guy

Try clicking on the drive and click update driver in the device manager, see if that helps other than that I can't think of anything esle at the moment.

Indeed you might need to download a driver, but definitely not for your hard drive itself, rather than for your SATA controller.

SATA controllers can be set through BIOS to specific modes such as RAID , AHCI, IDE ...etc

Your system is probably set to RAID mode, and you need to download the SATA/RAID drivers for your motherboard's SATA controller.
