I attached the crash dump analysis and the dump files.

I know that it's caused by USB 3.0 drivers, so I uninstalled them, restarted the computer and everything seems normal.

Driver info : USB 3.0 hub, Intel Corporation, date 29.03.2013, version 2.5.0.19.

I tried to update that driver with the known result, I did that because when I connect an external HD to one of the USB 3 ports, it was not visible. Every time I connect that HD, it happens again, I already initialized and formatted it the first time I used it.

My question is : how do I update those drivers the right way without crashing the whole system.

Thanks.

In the meantime I downloaded Driver Magician (giveaway of the day)
sadly there is no update available for the USB3 ports Intel.
Which leaves only one question : what's wrong that I have to uninstall those drivers before using the HD ?

Thanks for your reply, I did what you asked (hopefully right).
Since the last time I did not have a BSOD any more, so I suppose this one is solved for now.
The problem about the external HD, after I goofed with a driver update, uninstalled and restarted the computer is solved for the moment. So far I did not have to repeat the driver uninstallation.........
Let's hope it stays that way because I have no idea what caused this, I did search for answers and I found out that I was not the only one with that problem, maybe something to do with Windows 7 and USB3, because the HD works perfectly on USB2.
