Driver needed for HP Designjet 750c plus plotter

Just upgraded to Windows 7 from xp pro.

My HP Designjet 750c plus plotter is not cooperating as the old HP-Gl/2 driver is apparently not compatible with Windows 7. I have read other forums that state that the 1050c plus driver will work but I've tried and still not working.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

are you using the jetdirect card with your plotter? if you are you need to configure a port for it , use the jetdirect wizzard to do this but im afraid you will have to use in xp or vista compatability mode i had the same problem with my 450c plotter for my cad work this was the only way i could get it to work.

I didn't use a jetdirect card previously when i was running xp and it worked fine just running off of a USB port. It just won't detect any sort of driver. I appreciate the help however.

have you tried loading either the xp or vista driver in compat mode right click on the setup.exe file >properties>compatability>tick run as xp or vista tick run as admin>ok it and exit , then right click on setup.exe and select "run as admin" good luck i hope this helps
