Hi,
I have been using Windows 7Ultimate & Vista Ultimate for over a year now...I use my wireless IDEA Net setter to access internet (!DEA - An !dea can change your life...)

My usage of Internet is approx 15-18 yrs a day and after usage of couple of hours ...the net connection automatically goes.:(
Even if i unplug & plug device again it doesn't start and few applications or sometime computer hangs. I have 2 forcibly  restart the computer which again takes ages as...while shutting down it gives messages stopping services which is displayed for a long time post which it shuts down and restarts with a window says “Safe mode/network/ and start windows normally).

Reboot times differ but every time is close to 42415 seconds …and the nagging error comes that windows has recovered from unexpected error ..Details attached.
All drivers related to wireless/network are already installed but still I have to forcefully SHUT DOWN my laptop minimum 4-5 times in day.

I am attaching Physical dump files...do let me know why its happening and what is solution for same...I have all drivers up to date..still cant figure out..wts' wrong

Laptop Configuration:-
HP Pavillion Dv 6000
Intel Core 2 duo T 5550 @ 1.83 Ghz

A quick look shows an issue with your modem drivers. Please download a fresh copy of the modem drivers, uninstall the current modem drivers, then install the freshly downloaded one's. Then monitor to see if the BSOD's keep recurring.

More to follow once the memory dumps are finished running....

Here's a whole bunch of older drivers - to include your wired and wireless networking drivers. As a first step I'd suggest updating them. Do not update them from Windows Update, do not update them from the HP website. Update them from the device manufacturer's website. That's Intel for your wireless and Realtek for your wired.

Thanks usasma for a quick reply.

I am trying to download wireless network drivers from following website.

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sea...OSVersion=Windows+7+Ultimate,+32-bit+version*

Regarding Modem drivers, 2 modem drivers are showing in my device manager
1> Motorola SM56 Data Fax Modem, version 6.11.12.3 - which is build in windows 7, should I remove this or update this with latest version ?
2> HUAWEI Mobile Connect 3G Modem ,version 2.0.3.813 - which I had installed ,but somehow i cant find updated version of same..can you help me find me downloadable link.

Today morning I did a reinstall of fresh copy of windows7,but still blue screen error poped out, hoping after installing wireless drivers it wont come...attaching DUMP file for your views.

Do let me know if i am going in right direction

Cheers
Robin

If you did a fresh install of Win7, it's very significant to know exactly when the BSOD occurred. Did it happen while installing or before you'd installed anything at all? If so, then it's likely to be either a hardware issue or a compatibility issue.

To check for some compatibility issues, please run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and let us know if it finds anything: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...90-7659-4bd9-9e51-2497c146af15&displayLang=en

If you're not using the Motorola SM56 Data Fax Modem - uninstall the drivers and remove the card from the system. If you can't remove the card, then disable the device in Device Manager.

For the HUAWEI Mobile Connect 3G Modem - I'd suggest contacting the cell phone carrier for updated drivers. Here's the HUAWEI website - but nothing points to which device is yours. Huawei Terminal

The memory dump still points at modem.sys

Uninstall the software for the Motorola SM56 Data Fax Modem
Then remove the Motorola SM56 Data Fax Modem from your system.
Test to ensure it stops the BSOD's.

The HUAWEI Mobile Connect 3G Modem is probably OK since the Upgrade Advisor passed it.

I'm about out of ideas here - I'd have to suggest wiping your hard drive with a program such as Kill Disk/DBAN, and then reinstalling Win7 from scratch.

If it still crashes without any additional drivers or programs installed - then this will most likely indicate a hardware issue.
