Dual boot Windows 7 on Windows 8

I'm trying to dual boot windows 7 on my windows 8 laptop, and I am able to install windows 7 using a UEFI usb I created, but before I install it on the allocated space partition I created, it gives me a warning that my partitions are not in the recommended order. My partitions are currently set up as: 300 MB EFI System partition, 900 MB Recovery partition, C: Windows 8 NTFS (860 GB), D: Unallocated space for win 7 (NTFS, 50GB), and 20 GB Recovery partition. How should I have my partitions set up in this case? I am also planning to create another partition in order to install Ubuntu after I install Windows 7, any advice, recommendations?

If you've indeed turned off Secure Boot and are installing in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...e-firmware-interface-install-windows-7-a.html then the error is negligible.

Follow Step one to five in this tutorial:
Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7
Warning you must have the uEFI/BIOS firmware setting in Step Three set.

Make sure you read the NOTE at Step three.

   Warning

If you shrink C: before deleting the OEM Recovery partition, the C: & the new partition may be converted to Dynamic partitions.
You DO NOT WHAT Dynamic partitions.

Than follow this tutorial: (installing in uEFI mode.)

Ray, I don't understand how a GPT disk would risk conversion to Dynamic? It allows unlimited partitions. Isn't Dyanmic only for MBR disks?

I had the same error message come up when I dual booted preinstalled Win8 with 7, googled the exact error text and learned it is not a concern.

Theog, I was just wondering why you suggest deleting the Recovery Partition on a Windows 8 system. I see the note about the drive being converted to Dynamic drive, but I do not see how that would happen on a GPT configured drive, which is not limited to 4 partitions.

I had Two OP where the partition converted to dynamic, I believe the use of 3rd party partitioning software with no support for Windows 8, uEFI, GPT & Secure Boot, the cause.
