Hello,

I got a DV7 notebook and its blue screening when viewing flash based videos, or watching other types of videos.
Specs:
HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC
4 Core 1.73Ghz
Radeon HD 5650 Display

Dual Boot on two drives 32bit and 64bit Ultimate
Full Retail on 64bit
About 6 Months old
And a fresh install was done a couple of days ago.

Had the same issues with the 32bit thats installed. Tried updating the display adapters
with the ones provided (latest) on hp's site, and i also tried the amd's latest drivers.
Same results on both.
attached are the dumps.
most are Bug Check 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR related.

Thanks

These were indeed caused by an attempted video driver reset. Often if you dont remove all traces of the previous driver (like the control panel, etc) the crashes will persist.

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

Hi, netimports. It seems you have the same problem that I used to have. I have an Acer AS7736G (AS=Asprire) with an NVidia GeForce G210M. If you wish to see these, don't hesitate to ask. I DO know that these are COMPLETELY different laptops. Do you have a warranty? BTW my card burnt out.
