DVD to Tablet Format

I am looking for software that can create digital copies of my DVDs to be played back on my Ipad and Android Tablet. What software out there works the best these days. In the past I had issues with syncing the sound.

Handbrake is also very good at doing stuff like that - HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder

I've used handbrake before but it always seemed to work better on OS X or Linux. I was hoping to use my Windows machine this time around.
