i am trying to find out if a DVI-I to 3 RGB will work on my Screen that has a DVI in.
my tv busted and i was told that dvi could handle a rca/rgb conversion but i am not sure.
i found this cord
but i don't know if it will work from my xbox to screen.
i reason i asked was because i use a cap card for recording gameplay form my xbox and the cap card is only RCA/RGB. so i am trying to have the out on the cap card go to my dvi screen.

No, I don't think it will work, the DVI-I probably won't even plug into the monitor. I think if you look at the DVI connector on your monitor you will find that it is a DVI-D, digital only connector. R G B is an analog signal, the pins it would go to on the DVI-I end are missing on the monitors DVI-D connector. A male DVI-I won't plug into a female DVI-D. A DVI-I connector, like the one on a video card, is analog and digital. The cable you are looking at just picks the analog R G B signal off of the video card.
