My wife's EVGA GeForce 560-ti GFX card has two DVI-I ports (the type with 24 pin-sockets plus 4 more pin-sockets clustered around a short slot) as well as an HDMI mini port.
The mini HDMI is in current use but has become sloppy and the cable often misconnects, so I plan to use one of the DVI-I connectors instead.
However, the Dell monitor has only DP and HDMI ports, so I'll need an adapter cable. There seem to be plenty of HDMI to DVI cables on our local TradeMe site, so I thought I'd go with either of these two options.

Any problems likely? BTW, the monitor is only 1920 x 1200 (16:10) .
