dxgmms1.sys BSOD randomly occures while gaming

Hi!
I bought a new PC about 6 months ago. Everything was fine and I played a lot of games since then without a single BSOD error. I always downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers and updated Windows regularly (apparently, this was my mistake!!).

However, I think it was after an Nvidia driver update that this dreadful BSODs started to appear randomly (most of them -if not all- have this error about dxgmms1.sys ...). They happen very rarely, some times after 10 hours of gaming or after 5 minutes of gaming. One time it appeared while I was away from PC (but had paused the game using ESC!)..

This errors however never appear in low-GPU-power demanding games.. they have appeared only in some of high demanding games (though I never experienced low fps or low-fps spikes):

-Watch Dogs (I regret ever buying this game. I'm absolutely sure that errors started to appeare first in this game... and I have played lots of games and some are way more demanding like Ryse Son of Rome, AC Unity, etc... none of which caused any BSOD errors)

-Shadow of Mordor (only 1 time and it was after that it had appeared in Watch Dogs. I had finished this game 2 times without a single incident.. but after I installed Watch Dogs and played SoM again, I encountered the error in this game as well)

-Dragon Age Inquisition (Even though my GPU temp reaches to 78 C for straight 8 hours or more in this game, BSOD happens randomly sometimes after 5 minutes of gaming and sometimes after 8 hours...)

-The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (the most recent game I'm playing and having this problem with... also I get awful lots of crashes to desktop while playing this game)

BTW my gaming case has 5 fans (Green X4_Hexagon Case) and CPU temp never reaches above 57 C while gaming so I don't think it is a temp issue... although I admit my 970 g1 gaming is not getting cooled like other 970 g1 gamings do... they never get above 72 whereas I've reached 78! alas 78 is not 95 so I don't think this would be a cause..

My BSOD report according to BSOD instructions thread is included (most recent BSOD happened today, about 2 hours ago playing Witcher 3).

I searched myself, and arrived to this conclusion that AI Suite 3 may be the cause. So I disabled it a lot of times and problem still remains with no difference.

Thank you in advance ...

P.S. BTW I've never upgraded my GPU bios (one newer version is available and I don't know how or even if I should upgrade it...)

Did.. ran it for 30 minutes and no instability happened (after 30 mins I exited it)... min fps 36, max fps 39, min temp 45, max temp 80.
BTW cpu temp went to 63 C using only two cores (4 physical cores total)...
is anything wrong with temps?

Just some thing I seen in the Speccy log.

Voltage
+5V 5.080 V
+3.3V 3.376 V
+12V 12.096 V
VIN3 0.824 V
VIN4 0.672 V
VCORE 1.792 V

C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\AI Suite III

Asus AI Suite causes many problems for others.

VCORE volts is extremely high according to the log. (1.792V)

I will go back to watching.

Additionally, before trying the repair install,

That dxgmms1.sys is a red herring, and is almost always your graphics driver,

From your dump,

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
 nvlddmkm+0x1b84ac

And it's date,

Code:
Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys
    Image name: nvlddmkm.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR="Red"]Mon May 11 18:59:00 2015[/COLOR] (55515E64)
    CheckSum: 00A86612
    ImageSize: 00ABB000
    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

Clearly your Nvidia driver being flagged so you should either try an earlier version, (Yours is 352.86) or you can try this one,

NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce Game Ready Driver WHQL

That just came out a few days ago.

This is a good guide to follow,

I think Speccy's got it wrong lol ... 1.792V is my cpu input voltage not my VCore (they are not the same thing right? :d) If it was really 1.7V shouldn't my cpu be like 80-90C? I just copy/pasted info again from speccy:

Code:

Hi again.
I re-installed my Graphics driver (downloaded the latest driver 353.06) according to the "NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems" guide but problem still remains (just got a dxgmms1 BSOD while gaming again and two crashes to desktop before it). I saved the latest events that occurred: Last_Events_when_BSOD_occured.txt
I'm going to repair install my windows now and hope that it helps...
Thanks.

I apologize for late response.. had some problems.
I still haven't repair installed the Windows because still don't have Windows DVD (don't want to download either...), but strangely my BSOD is stopped completely since 3 days after ago after that last BSOD when I clean installed Nvidia Driver... IDK why but I haven't done anything else..
Also my crashes to desktop are fewer as well..
I must see if the problem still exists or not, if yes then I'll either live with it (:d) or repair install and post the result here... .
Thanks..
