E-mail notification containing hex image data

For the last week or so, some E_mail notification I receive contain the "hex" content of images posted in the thread.

Anyone else seeing this? Any way to make it stop? It's very annoying to say the least.

Is that with Gmail? Gmail uses base64 to encode images, which is what you're seeing and not the actual image.

Yes, this is a Gmail account (my whatthetech.com account - Gmail based).
Doesn't seem to happen all the time though but I'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
