Easy disk imaging?

I'm looking for the simplest option to image all my computers. I would like to image multiple computers, then store the images on a single drive. The software should be able to restore any image to a new drive within the computer, through a USB connection after the blank-new-drive has been installed (no special cables needed).

Any suggestion on software?
