I am trying to make a universal iso file. I received a windows 7 ultimate sp1 iso from microsoft using the retail key for a windows ultimate I bought for a different computer. I need to reinstall windows 7 on another computer that is running home premium. I tried using the ei.cfg removal utility on the iso download. It said that it removed the file. I then used the windows 7 usb/dvd download tool to make a bootable usb drive. When I restarted them computer, it booted the usb and went into the installation process. It never asked me which version of windows 7 I want to install. After selecting the language, the next page is the EULA for Windows 7 Ultimate. I know that I either am making a mistake at the language page or it failed to make a universal iso file. Any suggestions on what I did wrong?
