Elgato keeps asking for an update install

I'm currently on Windows 7, (was tired of Windows 10 disconnecting my wi-fi randomly, despite checking for online help)... Everytime I launch the Elgato software, It opens up Chrome, even if I have ALL the updates installed on my system! Is there a way to get around it?

I guess I'm passing the buck but have you submitted a ticket to Elgato from their support website?
