Erase Auto-Populate history

Guys/Girls,
Is there anyway to get the history of recently opened documents from showing up in the open documents?

Click the Office Orb (ie top left of window) > Word (or Excel, or Powerpoint) Options (at the bottom of the window that then opens) > Advanced > Scroll down to Display > Set "Show this number of Recent Documents" to zero > Click OK, and that should do it

Uh huh. I wanted to know if the OP meant MS Word. Guess it's taken care of on both ends!
