Hello everyone.
For the last half year, I've become very desperate. My computer was working jst fine and then it started giving black screens after the startup. That moment just before you see your (custom) background. I've checked my registryfiles. I've fixed some errors but I couldn't find anything about this error:

It means he could not find the description of error nvlddmkm, the graphic card error. I've tried everything too to fix error 4101, the display error: Which restores the screen after a while. But that doesn't happen to me! The only thing I see is a black screen. And I have to restart my system manually.
What do I have to do?

The strangest thing actually is that if I press ctrl+alt+delete just if my screen goes black and wait for 10 minutes my computer works just fine. But it get's really annoying.
I don't get any BSOD's. (If you want to know.)

I never had a BSOD. I only checked the registry for the black screen and that Ctrl+alt+delete thing. I've checked the Microsoft website for a solution, but they didn't had it. Even the automatic solution checker didn't find one. This must be something new.

While many folks here are gurus, none are mystics. Please fill in your system specs (use the Easy System Specs link in my signature)

Also please publish a Speccy report (file menu PUBLISH on Speccy - Pririform.com) - this provides current information regarding your system.

You said you used Driver sweep.... I have a machine with NVIDIA drivers on it and there is more thna one location for the NV drivers - did you get all of them?

f you are still experiencing the issue, you could try uninstalling the NV drivers in Device manager, making sure you answer yes to the remove software question. Reboot and cancel the found new hardware.

Then get the base drivers from your manufacter's download site, install and reboot. Then run Windows Update to see if it thinks you need updated drivers. The longer troubleshooting method is to remove all drivers that your mfr supplies, incuding software when prompted, reboot and install the base drivers - starting with the chipset and working outward.

Use the Dell recommended driver install order as a basis, ignore any Dell specific drivers/software (unless you have a Dell. This is a more complicated task, but it does eliminate other drivers as the cause. You should then carefully update drivers one at a time, run that way for a while to see if the issue crops up. Then update the next driver - again paying attention to the recommended order. It might take a week or more this way, but your system will be stable while you are in the process. Unless of course there is a hardware issue - software won't fix that.

Good luck.

Bill

First off: Thanks Bill, I will post my system specs soon, but now I don't really have time.
Second: For the ones who want to know this. If I hit Ctrl+alt+delete on the black screen and wait for 10 minutes. If I then go to my Coogle Chrome browser and type in a Youtube film, whenever the film starts, my computer freezes and this can't be fixed with the Ctrl+alt+delete way. On the lower right of the browser you can see it's stuck on "waiting for cache". I don't know if this is important to this issue? I've already deleted Adobe and Java things and reinstalled them. So that can't be it. What now?

News:
I don't actually get this error so often, but there are new problems.
I'm having a crash when I use the Ctrl+alt+delete way (read the previous posts) and when I'm on Youtube it crashes.
This is the second strangest thing: If my computer crashes and I reboot it, I won't get any error at all! The system doesn't show the 4101 error: nvlddmkm.
All of these problems first started when I was a week away from home and came back home. Could it be that?

your previous post you mentioned ndlddmkn means it is pointing to your nvidia drivers

Post the new dumps

I didn't get any BSOD. So I don't have any dumps... But the 4101 is:

But my friends are telling me it's dust in the graphic card. Could it be that? Because I've been away for a week...

I think it could be dust. My friend had some strange errors too, which looked like software issues. But when he cleaned his computer after a year and started his computer, he noticed his errors were gone. Not all of them though. But that nvlddmkm error, could it be a real software issue or a hardware-dust issue?

Last thing I could find: if I press Ctrl+Alt+delete when the black screen appears and when I look at the framerate, I notice that the framerate is lower than it should be. What does this mean? It think it is a hardwareproblem.

Then just get it tested and replaced if it is under warranty
