error 1935, and 1603 under installation of software

Hi there…

I’m trying to install some software. But can’t, I get 2 error messages.

First error
“Error 1935. An error 0ccured during installation of assembly component {Lots of numbers} HRESULT: 0x80070002.

Second error.
Error -1603 fatal error during installation.
Consult windows installer help (msi.chm) or MSDN for more information..

I have been looking around, and I have tried some things.

Install in XP capability.

Run the install as administrator.

Has set the service “Microsoft installer” from manuel to auto.

Removed the net framework, and installed it again.

Shutoff/turn on computer and close some running programs like skype, messenger antivirus ect.


I’m running Windows 7 64-bit.

It’s only 1 specific software/program I cant install.
Have try’ed on a friend’s Windows 7 64-bit. And there it works fine….

I have no problem installing other software.

What can I do ??
