While playing "Rift" (new MMO) my system has recently started chucking this error out.
Basically, the game alt-tabs back to desktop, then alt-tabs back into the game. For a while I didn't know what was going on, but Event Viewer clearly shows Error 4101 each and every time.
I've already safe-mode cleaned old drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled, scanned for new hardware, put new drivers in, and it makes no difference. Neither does disabling Aero, or changing clockspeeds for 2D values. No difference. Changing TDR to 0 in regedit simple means that the game doesn't recover; I don't notice any great increase in stability.
Help? Please?
