error during creation of a new partition

i own a hp pavilion dv6 laptop with a 500gb hdd. The partitions are as shown in the pictures i have uploaded. Initially the unallocated space was in the C: drive. I needed an extra drive so as to install a new os. Hence i shrinked the volume an took out a 75gb of it. now whenever i try to create a new simple volume,an error as is shown. If i actually proceed with yes, then the primary partitions are converted into simple partitions.
Please help me out on this.

Hi Arun. I hope you haven't proceed with your partitioning project. What you are trying to do is highly risky.

A MBR Disc can handle 4 primary partitions successfully at a time (a logical volume is also treated one primary partition, including all its extended volumes). If there are more than 4 primary partitions there, it will be converted to a dynamic disc. Dynamic discs cannot boot from, so your windows installation will become inaccessible totally.

Alternatively, you may achieve it in another way ... by converting recovery (D) to logical. As the system partition is active, it appears that it contains the boot entries, and converting recovery to logical will not do any harm. Now create a logical partition in the blank space: Create Partition help of partition software - Partition Wizard.
