Error message : "Intel My WiFi technology. Hardware Radio switch off

I just reinstalled Windows 7. I am getting the message. "Intel My WiFi technology. Hardware Radio switch off"

Can not log into the internet.

There is not a switch on my system. Drivers for Network card and Chipset from my manufacturer are installed. I disabled and then enabled the adapter. Do not see settings in BIOS for Network card.

a few ideas:

- there may be a software switch set up by the manufacturer of your system. That switch may be dependant on a driver that is unique to your system. Your specs say lenovo, so I would look up your system on lenovo's support/download site and make sure there isn't a special utility or driver you need

- regardless of the above, you may need to press the unique keystrokes that turns your wireless on. Like Fn-F8, or Alt-Shift-F12, whatever. Again if you have a lenovo, this is something unique to your system.

- sometimes there is a switch that is hard to find - on the back, underneath, so check everywhere

- sometimes just touching the wireless light or wireless icon on the machine will turn on the radio. Something you would not have thought was really a switch, but it is.

- there may be a utility on your system that is hard to find that turns on wireless. For instance in this video where the guy has a toshiba, he navigates to a folder and clicks on TBSwireless (sounds like a toshiba program) which turns on his radio

Can't find any of these solutions.

Boy did I learn my lesson about creating a system recovery USB. Clean in stalls are NOT the way to go.

Found the reason for others that might have the same issue.

Under The adapter properties power management table the box for turning it off to save power needed to be unchecked.

Still having connection issues though.
