Trying to install Win 7 Ent. 32 bit on a custom built P4 2.6GHz, 768mb RAM.
Windows will not start after Acronis image or via just windows install due to error OxO.
Searched around but most people just say to turn on the E.. data transfer thing in the BIOS but that is already on (IDE HDD BTW).
So...What do I do?

Yep

System should take it.
The computer must be upgraded or thrown out so the question is how to figure this problem out.

Try installing from a usb key, it may have to do with bad media or bad burn or even a bad iso. Is this a readymade win7 disk or home made?

Too many to describe...
OS
Windows 7 x64 pro/ Windows 7 x86 Pro/ XP SP3 x86
will try

It is a home-made Win 7 disk but it has worked on 5 other computers without problems. I burned it at a slow speed on good media.
Will try secure erase and see what happens.

working

Trying a clean install now-
Sorry for not being clear but this is a usb image. The image was made from a quality DVD as described above.

Clean install worked for some but not most of the computers which had this error occur on them after the computer mentioned in the initial post.
Now most of the computers that are being imaged with the computer mentioned above won't boot from the image because of STOP 0x0000007b.
I looked it up online and have done 5 hours of troubleshooting all to no avail.
I have changed registry keys in HK_Local_user to make sure drivers are active on startup, I have changed BIOS settings, I have updated, Bios, I have reset BIOS, I have tried installing the image twice, and several other steps but nothing seems to work.
I read online that because the second error code (of the 4 hexidecimal error codes in parenthesis after the STOP code) 0x0000034 (or something like that ending in 34) translates into "bad hard drive drivers" I should update them but I have no clue how to do that from a command line or BIOS. None of the computers I am working on can install windows updates (all running illegal windows) before I put on the fresh image with legal Windows so updating the computers before imaging is all not viable...
This is just one massive problem after another....

Small update-Think the numbers went like this STOP 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF88009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x000000 …) on the BSOD screen
