Error playing any games on windows installation-0xc000007b

Hi I recently updated to windows 8.1 x64 from windows 7 x86 but now whenever I try to play any game it shows an error-0xc000007b
All my games ran fine on windows 7 but since yesterday after I upgraded I cannot play any games.
Any help will be much appreciated

My recommendation is to update your drivers (Audio and Video) straight from the manufacturer (ATI/AMD, Nvidia, Realtek, etc) and see if that help fix the error. If you can take a snipping tool snap (print screen) of the error that would help even more.
