Error While "Burning" ISO Wind 7x64, Home Premium to USB Drive

Do you have winrar or 7zip that opens .iso files ? You could copy the contents of the ISO to a bootable USB

I do and actually I finished redownloading the ISO Image and am currently using Ultimate Boot to remake the USB Stick. Only difference now is its taking longer....

Call me stupid but I always thought it would be a 2 minute copy thing. This has been going for about 10 minutes now...

Once that is created just copy the contents to the USB drive . You could even extract the contents from 7zip or winrar

Well I can finally say the computer is up and running Windows. I feel silly thinking that the ISO Image would need to be redownloaded, oh well. Thanks everyone for the help :)

I also suggested as my first step that you needed to redownload the ISO and burn to DVD again.

I stated clearly that the error is always a bad installer.

So skipping that step first given to you by Gary wasted all of that time.

I hope you stuck closely to the steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to get a perfect install. Have you installed all of your Important and Optional Windows Updates after enabling Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3)? Which drivers are still missing in Device Manager?
